(based on ratings in 2016)
"There are a variety of clubs and pubs and new ones pop up all the time too. The university also provides an on-campus club and pub if you don't want to leave campus. It's always a laugh and absolutely lit."
"There are a range of cheap and more expensive cocktail bars and clubs. All bar one of the clubs are basement clubs due to noise limitations of the heritage city. We have an excellent students' union club night with cheap drinks too. I have always enjoyed nights out in Bath, but some people find that it is a bit dull if they're used to big city clubs. Bristol is close by for this, though."
"There are lots of pubs and bars but clubs are small and underground. That said, you are not far from Bristol for a bigger nightlife."
"Pubs always have a good atmosphere and clubs are fun as they are different to most unis, being underground. There are lots of activities in the winter including bowling and ice skating and the Christmas markets are a highlight of the year."
"You can visit the Bath Spa, various bars and restaurants, Sydney Gardens and a cinema."
"Good clubs, roughly one for each night of the week."
"Not a huge amount in the way of nightlife but Po Na Nas on a Friday is so much fun!"
"There are a limited number of clubs as it is quite a small town but you do not get bored as they all offer different types of music."
"There are lots of clubs but not very big ones. We also have bars."
"There are club nights and many coffee shops, bars and eateries as well as tourist attractions. There are also parks that you can play games or just chill out in."
"There's lots of amazing architecture and history since it's an old Roman town. The Bath Spa, Bath Abbey and many other locations are famous landmarks."
"There are good places for fine dining and movie nights out. It's safe to walk around."
"Lots of cultural attractions such as the Roman Baths and art galleries. Nice walks and places to eat."
"It depends on what you want, the clubs are small and low key but there are loads of great pubs and bars."
