"The university's careers team organises careers events all the time and have big brands come to campus and set up booths or do presentations. Furthermore, as part of your course you get compulsory classes that talk you through applications and help you to build your CV. It also offers you many different jobs including ones exclusive to Bath students."
"Almost everyone does a placement or summer placement. The careers service is very good and gives lots of advice on getting placements and checking CVs and cover letters etc. Companies such as Rolls-Royce also put on mock interviews. Some placements are fast-tracked processes for Bath students and there are lots of good careers fairs throughout the year."

"I got a lot of support when looking for a placement year with many companies only advertising to Bath students for their placement schemes. There are always loads of careers presentations on campus from top employers such as Goldman Sachs and EY. My placement put me in an extremely good position for looking for a graduate job and I was able to secure a top graduate scheme within a few months of searching. I cannot recommend doing the placement enough."
"The careers services regularly have events, talks and fairs every month. They also have offices you can drop into to talk about your concerns and help you devise plans of what you want to do next. At Bath, a large proportion of students take on a year in industry or a professional placement that helps students to gain many transferable and more specific skills. The different departments are very encouraging during the placement year, sending emails to you to check that you are well."
