About the institution
The University of Highlands and Islands is a partnership of 13 independent colleges and research institutions across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Students can choose where they study out of 13 campuses and 70 learning centres, or online. Each campus has a unique character and specialises in a different range of subjects, some of which are quite unusual. For example, North Highland College’s specialist subjects include golf management and game keeping, whereas Orkney’s include fine art textiles and Viking studies.
