About the institution
The University of Surrey is situated in Guildford, around 40 minutes from London by train. It was granted university status in 1966 and offers a range of academic, vocational and creative degree courses. It has over 2,300 partner organisations for its professional training placement programme. Students can work out at the university-owned Surrey Sports Park, which hosted the 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cup and was selected as an official training base for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
