"There are two campuses. One of them is in the centre of the city and one is on the other side of river. There's easy access around via buses, the metro and train stations. The uni has various student accommodations ranging from en-suite rooms to studio apartments."
"The campus is lovely and by the riverside. It's maybe a little dated though."
"The university campuses are within walking distance of most student halls or you can get a free bus to halls if they are far away from campuses. Both campuses are easy to get to by car as well, although parking can be a bit limited. Student accommodation is cheap and is pretty nice as well."
"It's very convenient as we're near to the metro station."
"We're right next to the River Tyne and only a 15-minute walk to the beach. It's a wonderful location."
"Sunderland seems to be quite a student-orientated city, so the majority of the facilities are modern. The accommodation could do with some refurbishment though."
"There are two campuses, one is city based and the other is on the outskirts. The library is brilliant but there are not enough computers. Parking is expensive and difficult near the university. Accommodation cannot really be faulted."
"It offers easy access to the city centre and the facilities are quite modern."
"It has two campuses, a gym, two libraries and lots of student accommodation."
"The location is great and the facilities are too. The university has recently upgraded the facilities by renovating some of the labs in the science complex and making the place look more professional, modern and refreshed."
