Please comment on the support you’ve had from the careers services, the type of employers that present and recruit on campus, the effectiveness of the alumni network, as well as fairs and on-campus recruitment activity.
"There are lots of careers talks and lots of opportunities to improve skills to enhance CVs and gain extra qualifications for example."
"There is plenty of help on offer for those who require employment support and career advice."
"They've helped prepare me for a job since my first year, when they taught me the basics of writing CVs and going to job interviews. They are continuously emailing you jobs that you can apply for. There are also careers lectures included in your study where you meet potential employers and can interact with them. There are also careers fairs and conferences where you can personally talk to the employers and show your interests."
"There's good support but nothing can be guaranteed."
"It was not until my third year that I was made aware that many of the career paths I might be interested in required prior experience. This experience could have been achieved through volunteer work in years one and two when my workload was lower but now it's too late."
