About the institution

The University of Salford is based in Manchester and specialises in health, media, energy and the built environment. It has four campuses, including one within MediaCityUK – home to BBC and ITV departments and over 80 creative and digital businesses. Journalism, broadcasting and film are among the 30 undergraduate courses taught at MediaCityUK, using industry-standard facilities. Salford has research partnerships with employers including the BBC and BT.
