Please comment on the support you’ve had from the careers services, the type of employers that present and recruit on campus, the effectiveness of the alumni network, as well as fairs and on-campus recruitment activity.

2016

"I spent some time talking to careers services about potential options and they were very helpful. They also provided me with aptitude test resources. I think recruitment on campus could be better though."
"They have been very helpful with things such as providing me with information about future career roles and organising work placements for me."
"I booked an employment meeting once but was only given a 10-minute appointment and the advice given wasn't very helpful in my opinion."
"Most modules can be related to the industry and we're made aware of how what we're learning can be applied. There are recruitment fairs held at least once a term with many companies to see. There's also a careers and placement office that helps you to find placements and graduate jobs. They are very effective and helpful."
"There are always opportunities to go to open days and conferences about nursing jobs."
"There are fairly effective job fairs and help with recruitment."
"There are fairs held on campus but they do not always have the huge employers that get promoted."
"There's plenty of support, though I haven't had much chance to use it yet."
"We have only had one recruiting event and a few CV workshops."
"We have a module completely focused on enhancing employability. There are several employment fairs with a whole range of employers to suit everyone."
