"We're close to town with a great union for both day and night life. There's a gym on campus and plenty of student accommodation on campus."
"The gym facilities seem nice and some buildings look great while others look old and shabby. The university could expand its campus and also make it more interactive. The library is small (but really pretty) and I wish it was bigger to accompany such a huge crowd of students. This is especially true during submissions and exams when everyone's using it and there's not enough space."
"The location is good for students but has nothing much to do during the day. The accommodation is fantastic as it is very compact and close to all university amenities."
"The location is really good as it's a contained campus mainly but also within the city centre so you feel near everything. There could be an area to chill out that was more comfortable."
"The location of the university is brilliant! The campus is five minutes from the city centre, but far enough away that it's not too loud or busy. Everything in Dundee is very close together. The student accommodation is on campus, which is great. There are loads of great cafés and takeaways nearby to get food, as well as shops and a cinema within a ten-minute walk. We also have a few parks within walking distance and there is a nature park close by as well if you fancy a longer run."
"There are a lot of activities to do on and around campus as we're close to town with the gym on campus and the union containing many bars and a swimming pool. It's a short walk into the centre of town where there are many shops and restaurants that are often quite affordable to students in comparison to other major cities in Scotland. Renting flats in Dundee is also very cheap in relation to other university areas in Scotland."
"We have an excellent location in a small city. It has everything you need as a student within walking distance."
"It's good generally as everything is close to the town centre, including the train and bus station."
"Campus is very close to town, which helps when it comes to choosing restaurants and places for cocktails! There's a range of facilities for everyone and student accommodation is brilliant."
"The university is situated not far away from the city centre. It's easy to get to some other places from there like shopping centres, cinemas or the theatre."
"It's a great location but Dundee is not very big. Everything is within walking distance and feels like a big family at times."
"It's a central location in the city centre and very accessible. The current technologies and equipment for life sciences are really good."
"The campus is very new with some older buildings mixed in, it's a nice balance."
"We're right next to town and Dundee thrives on students as it's a very student-friendly city. The campus is secure so it can help you feel safe."
"The campus university is in the heart of the city centre, it doesn't get much better than that! Accommodation is all very close by as well as the shops and other amenities off campus."
"Campus is in the centre of town but is also like its own community in itself."
