Loughborough University is famous for its sport and has won the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) championship for 35 consecutive years. The university has been voted England’s Best Student Experience six times in the Times Higher Education league table and its students’ union has won several awards. Its halls of residence have various inter-hall competitions such as IMS (sports), Action (volunteering), RAG (fundraising for charity) and a sing-off. The best hall wins the ‘Hall of the Year’ trophy.
