"The university careers service facilitated various opportunities such as the Employability Award, which involved a combination of workshops, one-to-one careers advice sessions and 25 hours of volunteering. Additionally, London Met is part of the East London Business Alliance (ELBA), which allows students to participate in mock interviews and interact with key employees of prestigious companies including Barclays, XL Catlin and Credit Suisse. All aspects of the careers service were fantastic at the uni and, as a result, I secured a job relevant to my degree within a year of graduation."
"We are offered laboratory work experience to learn laboratory skills and there are events and guest speakers from companies highlighting job opportunities."
"The careers services are excellent, knowledgeable and willing to help."
"There are a lot of things going on but sometimes the information doesn't get passed on very well."
"They help us by running some workshops and there are appointments that you can book to have one-to-one sessions."
