About the institution
Lancaster University is a collegiate university, with one postgraduate and eight undergraduate colleges. The main campus is just outside Lancaster, set in parkland and not far from Morecambe Bay. Facilities on campus include the Nuffield Theatre, where both professionals and students are able to perform. Students can also compete for their college using Lancaster’s Sports Centre, or take part in the annual ‘War of the Roses’ competition between Lancaster and the University of York.
