Location of university

Please comment on the location of your university (city, town, etc), the campus, the facilities, and student accommodation.

2016

"Campus is great with many renovations and building work with accommodation going on at the moment."
"The city is amazing for social life and has so many things to do. The campus is great as it's not broken up, it's all in one place. There's a great library. The halls are scruffy but, when you are a fresher, it's really not a problem!"
"The campus is beautiful, it has high-class facilities like the gym and the food at the restaurants is good. The student accommodation is to a high standard and I would recommend it to anyone."
"The uni is a bit far out of town so it can be a pain travelling in each morning. However, everything is on campus and very secure."
"The campus is on the outskirts of Edinburgh city centre, which is perfect as it gives you the peace of town life but the city is highly accessible (great bus service running every 10 to 15 minutes). The student accommodation is on campus and this creates a family feel for the freshers."
"The campus is lovely and nicely separated from the city. All the important buildings are laid out thoughtfully and you have basically everything you could need at your fingertips."
"The city the university is in is fantastic, it's easily the best city in Scotland. It's a little annoying that campus is a bus ride away but the campus is so beautiful that I don't mind. Student accommodation is pretty good as well, there was nothing wrong with my halls."
"The campus is out of town but there are regular buses coming and going to the city centre. Edinburgh is really beautiful with a great variety of things to do from nightlife to theatre. The library is big and you can find everything you want. If there is something missing, you can contact them and they can bring it in from another library. The gym is also very nice with many classes too like GRIT or Body Circuit. Also, you can join many sports clubs. I currently live in the halls and I'm really happy about it. It's clean with very good internet connectivity and is close to the uni."
"The location is in Edinburgh, which is superb. However, the facilities are often full, especially the computer labs. The computer system is outdated and can be slow."
"It's in a great location out of the way of the city and there are frequent buses that take you directly there in 20 minutes."
