About the institution
Brunel University London is a campus-based university in Uxbridge, West London and takes its name from Isambard Kingdom Brunel, one of the key figures in the Industrial Revolution. The campus is approximately one mile (about a 20 minute walk) from the centre of Uxbridge, which has a large range of bars, restaurants and shops to choose from. Students also have easy access to London via the train or the underground. The university celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016.
