Brighton and Sussex Medical School

About the institution

The Brighton and Sussex Medical School is a partnership between the University of Brighton and the University of Sussex. In first year, students can live in halls of residence at either Lewes Court campus or Paddock Field campus. Lewes Court belongs to Sussex and Paddock Field belongs to Brighton; both are in Falmer in the Sussex Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Due to the institutions being joined, students are members of both universities’ students’ unions and are awarded joint degrees from both universities.
