About the institution
Bath Spa University focuses primarily on arts and humanities subjects. Newton Park, its larger campus, is a parkland estate four miles from central Bath with its own nature reserve and lake. Its second campus, Sion Hill, is based in the city centre and is the base for art and design students. The university also has specialist teaching sites such as Burdall's Yard in the city centre (for music and live performance students), which hosts a number of arts events such as Party in the City, part of the Bath Festival.
