Work experience in Sky Sports News HQ

At Sky Sports News, we pride ourselves on being the first for breaking sports news, and we have the best production teams in the business. Our 24-hour news operation ensures that content is shared fast and accurately across our range of platforms - TV, mobile, online and iPad.

We're looking for the very best undergraduate and postgraduate journalism students to join us for up to two weeks’ work experience.  During your time with us, you’ll be exposed to all aspects of our news gathering and production processes, everything from writing scripts to shadowing one of our top reporters.

To be considered, you’ll need to be currently studying for (not graduated in) an NCTJ or a BJTC accredited course. You'll be 18 years or older and be able to write or be working towards 100 words per minute shorthand. Above all, you must have an undeniable passion for sports and be able to deliver brilliant work.
Does this sound like you? Then we’d love to hear from you!

We’ve got opportunities available from 6th November 2017.

All our opportunities are unwaged but we pay £15 a day expenses which you can claim after you’ve completed your week.
