School and College Leaver programme
A position on our School and college leaver programme is one of the best ways of jumping into a career with PwC early. You'll learn and develop the specialist skills our clients look for and value most and study towards a professional qualification, with support from us all the way.
The work is varied and includes investigating and analysing operational and financial risk, processes, systems and controls in order to make recommendations for improvement. Good communication, analytical skills and a strong eye for detail are therefore really important.
Join our leading practice and you'll be part of the team that gets to grips with every aspect of clients' activities, understanding their business to identify where our high-quality Assurance can add insight and value. It's critical work that enhances corporate governance and plays an important role in ensuring the reliability and relevance of business information. Work with our prestigious client list and you'll develop the business skills, knowledge and relationships you need to do well in a career that's about so much more than numbers.
What you'll gain
You'll enjoy plenty of practical, on-the-job training while studying for a professional qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). This takes two years and will enable you to secure a Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) as a core part of your apprenticeship. We'll give you study leave to go to college plus plenty of support, but you'll need to study in your own time too. At the same time, you'll study for a nationally recognised qualification and secure a Diploma in Audit Practice Level 4 to recognise your on the job learning.
What you need to get in
- You'll need to have or be on course for 280 UCAS tariff* (or equivalent)
- You'll need to have a Grade C or above in GCSE English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent)
*from up to three A Levels (excluding General Studies) or equivalent, taken in the same academic year and achieved at first sitting
Please note that if you have a degree, you may find our graduate opportunities more appropriate. Having a degree does not lead to faster progression through this programme.

We know that the skills and experiences you develop with us will stay with you throughout your career. So join PwC. We'll help you reach your full potential.
