Laing O’Rourke is a multidisciplinary design, manufacturing, engineering and construction group, which is behind some of the world’s most iconic structures. The combined expertise of our in-house delivery businesses allows us to tackle some of the largest and most complex projects. We are looking for service leavers from engineering-related and trades backgrounds, as well as individuals with leadership and project management experience to join us.
You will be involved in day to day activities that are essential for safe working scaffolding access solutions within our construction business.
As a Laing O’Rourke apprentice you will work through a structured programme that will take between two and four years depending on your apprenticeship choice. The programme will combine practical onsite experience, academic learning at college and a series of bespoke personal development modules.
As part of the Apprenticeship+ programme, you will be expected to achieve an NVQ 2, plus a technical certificate in your chosen discipline. You will attend college on either a block or day release format, depending on the college you are assigned to.
Your apprenticeship journey will be supported by experienced tradespeople and construction professionals, with a dedicated mentor and apprentice officer that will work closely with you, providing regular feedback on your progress towards completing your apprenticeship.
You will be involved in day to day activities that are essential for safe working scaffolding access solutions within our construction business. Working with experienced Scaffolders and other Tradesmen, you’ll learn all aspects of site scaffolding access solutions. On-site training and experience will be complemented by an extensive construction college apprenticeship programme that will lead to you becoming a competent Scaffolder.
