Financial Conduct Authority

At the FCA we serve the public interest by improving the way financial markets work and how firms conduct business. We were set up by the government in 2013 and today we regulate 59,000 firms. In fact, every day we work hard to ensure we protect consumers, practise integrity and promote competition within relevant markets.

Effective regulation relies on consent, trust and confidence from the public. That’s why, when we make regulatory judgements, we always aim to be transparent about how we reached them.

When you join us as an apprentice, you’ll receive exceptional development and make a real difference to the lives of millions of people across the UK.

Our 2020 programmes last between 18-36 months and offer a fantastic opportunity to earn as you learn. You could join us on a number of available apprenticeships including Risk and Compliance, Data Analyst, Business Administrator, Financial Services Administrator and the Level 7 Chartered Accountant Degree Apprenticeship.

Your development is very important to us which is why we ensure you get all the mentoring and coaching you need to fulfil your potential. Once you join us, we’ll help further your understanding of the industry with regular support from your line manager and a Skills Coach, who’ll help you balance your work and study time.

We start accepting applications in spring 2020.
