Engineering Technician Apprentice (Higher)

About the scheme

The Engineering Technician Higher Apprenticeship Programme is a combination of off-the-job training at a local college of further education, and on-the-job training across a variety of engineering functional disciplines.

Working towards both practical and academic targets, this competency based a programme takes up to four years to complete, building on your technical skills, knowledge and transferable skills.

You'll be joining our team of highly skilled and dedicated employees working across the Land (UK) business.  

As an Engineering Technician Higher Apprentice you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge of trials and tests in line with customer specification and quality standards.

What you’ll need

You will require five GCSE’s A*- C / 9-4 including Maths, English and a Science subject plus two A' Levels grade A-C in Maths and a Science subject.

In addition you must be able to demonstrate a keen interest for electronics and instrumentation with high levels of self-motivation together with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. Applicants must also be felxible and responsive to changing environments.

Applicants will also be expected to be medically fit as deemed necessary to perform the role, be eligible to work in the UK and be able to successfully achieve security clearance.
