Stores Apprenticeship Programme

“You need to be driven.

You’ve got to want to do this.”

Nationally recognised qualification

We’re different at Aldi. So it’s no surprise that our apprenticeships are a little bit different too. And if going to uni isn’t for you, they’re a brilliant introduction to life at an award-winning retailer. Just take a look at our Stores Programme. You’ll get real responsibility very early on, and everything you need to have a blossoming, long-term career with us. And we haven’t even mentioned the great pay, personal development, and qualifications you’ll gain yet.

Management is the aim on our Stores Programme. You’ll be given a competitive salary (starting at £5.52 per hour rising to £8.02 in year three), and a supportive environment where you’ll learn from the very best. Throughout the programme, you’ll also have to complete theory work to achieve your Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Retail Management. By the end, you’ll have built up the knowledge, skills and know-how to become a Deputy Store Manager. And if you’ve really excelled, you might even be offered the chance to become an Assistant Store Manager.

You’ll need Maths and English, grades A to C. Other than that, it’s about your attitude and desire to do well. After all, it can be hard work here. So we pick people who we think have the Aldi personality. You know, the sort of person who wants to muck in and help the team – and sees every challenge as an opportunity to prove their worth. If you’ve got the drive, commitment and determination, we’ll put you on the right road to success.
